In Gallarus Oratory

You can still feel the community pack

A core of old dark walled up with stone

Gallarus Oratory, the best preserved early Christian church in Ireland. Believed to have been constructed in the 6th to 9th centuries, and still watertight to this day — just stacked stones — no mortar of any kind.

Taken with a tripod and a 70-300mm at 300mm, I really wish I had a doubler to get a really tight shot. Regardless, I love the bare branches and it was fun coming up with this composition.
