I really like this picture. I have a sense of tremendous speed and movement while standing still and within the still frame. I feel like I am hurtling forward…possibly involuntarily.
This is your favorite of the birch trees? I do love that sense of speed…for me, one viewing gave me a Star Wars vessel making the jump to hyperspace.
Like the others it’s a VERY wide angle shot taken underneath the tree, so that the falling branches come up over and behind the camera.
A motionless explosion.
